The hostel offers water-saving showers and clean bedding. the design is smart and cost-effective. the breakfast spread is delicious and there is a fabulous play area.

Completely new & modern facilities, very clean, good buffet breakfast is included and extremelly helpful staf. I'd say it's what all hostels would like to be. 100 from 100, really. Btw, I booked 1 night only but then staid here for 3 nights.

Not a complain, but prices for accommodation in Netherlands are painful at general. This hostel costs 25Euro/night for bed in dorm - which is good price for Netherlands, bt for all the rest of Europe - its top price. If it would be around 20 - I will feel better :-)

Location was good and you can rent bike in hotel. Free parking. Breakfast was fair...only some bread, 2 kind of jam,ham+cheese, boiled eggs, coffee, tea, milk.

No towel (cost 3 euro for use towel), no soap & need to place your own bed cover...you need to press water botton every 20 seconds since this is environmental friendly hostel.

Loved the unique atmosphere and spacious feel of the hostel. The location was perfect for exploring charming villages and beautiful nature. The buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Cons: Who needs peace and quiet when you can have children running and screaming everywhere?

It was spotlessly clean and staff very friendly. Also lovely breakfast included in 25 euros per night package. Fantastic value for money and have already booked to go back August Bank Holiday weekend. Would not think of staying anywhere else in Den Burg!

Only problem was that the fire doors and windows in the rooms were padlocked. I thought this was really dangerous and was surprised that they could get away with this. However, that is the only negative point, but a potentially catastrophic one!

We got great value for our money at Stayokay Hostel Texel. The room was small but had everything we needed, and the location was fantastic with easy access to public transportation. The staff treated us like family, remembering who the parents of each child were and providing a safe and fun environment for our kids.

The breakfast offerings could have been more diverse.

It is a hotel for families as the garden is big and it is cheap, but the rooms are small and they turn into tiny places when you ask for an extra bed. They are also dangerous as they are metal bunks and the ladder is also made of metal. My daughter accidentaly hit her mouth when she was going to the upper bed and broke two teeth

The 5 bed room was very clean and came with a free baby bed for our 11 month old. The beds were comfortable and everything we needed was available - bike rentals, baby monitor, etc. Breakfast was good and it's an easy bike ride to everywhere on the island.

We had a great one-night stay at Stayokay in Texel. The clean and spacious room exceeded our expectations for a hostel. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom facilities were clean, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast, served in a nice and comfortable area, provided us with enough food to start our day. Additionally, the hostel offers affordable bike rentals, making it the perfect base for exploring the island.

The food at Stayokay Hostel was absolutely fantastic! They really take hostel dining to the next level with a great breakfast spread and even the option to enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by a talented Italian cook. The atmosphere at the hostel is also top-notch, with a super friendly and welcoming vibe that is perfect for families. The location couldn't be better, surrounded by beautiful nature and just a short walk from the town. Plus, they provide cycles for guests to explore the area. I highly recommend this hostel for a great stay.

There were a few minor inconveniences during our stay. The water in the shower would automatically stop after a few seconds, which was a bit frustrating.

Reasonably-priced youth hostel on the village's edge, convenient for a short stay. Breakfast is satisfying and offers gluten-free options upon request. Fast and professional service, with comfortable mattresses. Clean and uncomplicated space.
